A Marathon Is How Long?

I laughed when I began reading the story about the Chicago Memorial Day Marathon, because even I know that a marathon isn't 27.2 miles. Everyone knows a marathon is 24 miles. Bunch'a dummies up there in Chi-Town!

Then I read a little further and found out that a marathon is 26.2 miles, thus proving once again that I am, in fact, just as big an idiot as the idiots I laugh at.
